IndieWeddingGuide’s feature today is the lakeside barn surrounded by mountains Georgia wedding of Lauren and Ross. All the gorgeous imagery is provided by Andie Freeman Photography. Andie’s based in Athens, GA and here’s what she had to say “This could not have been a more perfect wedding day. The bride, Lauren, was very relaxed and just wanted to have a good time that day. When she saw her groom, Ross, for the first time you could truly see the sparks fly. They were so relaxed and easy going in front of the camera that it really let their love shine. The details inside the barn and the ceremony site were amazing. Simple but elegant and very memorable. Even the weather was perfect!”

What a breathtaking natural setting for an outdoor ceremony. They were married in front of a lake with the North Georgia Mountains around them.
Their reception was held in a red barn that was beautifully set by event designer, Jessie Patton from Southern Sophistication Designs. Jesse handled the invitations, event design, planning and coordination of the day, as well as floral design.
Since Lauren was marrying a man with the last name of Crane, she wanted to commemorate her new name with something special. So she chose to make tons of origami cranes to be the backdrop of their cake table! And speaking of the cake, wedding cake was provided by Cecilia Villaveces Cakes.
The reception was catered by Mac the Cheese Truck and appetizers were served right from the truck. They had the most amazing grilled cheese corners to dip in a tomato bisque.

Jessie from Southern Sophistication says about the wedding, “Lauren was a low-maintenance, easy to please bride. The theme for the wedding was rustic chic. We wanted to bring elegance and class together with the natural, rustic beauty of the mountains and the barn. Lauren and Ross are a couple that are truly in love and they made my job a complete joy!”
