If you’re a Wes Anderson fan then you’ll love this save the date:

This one didn’t require quite as much effort but still gets the job done:

Stop motion, but doable with very few props:

Lastly, you could go the post-it note save the date video route (you could be the 3rd ever as I only found 2 others!):

The Best Animated Save The Date Video

Brooklyn Bride posted this awesome save the date video. I love its style with the animation. I’m sure it wasn’t cheap (unless it was done by a friend) but it is really awesome. You can find the original post here: Save the Date video: Lori + Eric.

Cute Ring Bearer with Running Shoes

Style Me Pretty had another great post of photos from a Kansas City Wedding. The original post can be found here: Kansas City Wedding by Alec Vanderboom Photography. I also love the casualish style of the groom and groomsmen’s suits. No jackets necessary for them!

Awesome Beach Wedding ColoursStyle me pretty had an excellent post with some wonderfully coloured flowers. Check out the bridesmaids dresses with the flowers. For the full post see this link: Beach Déjeuner Photo Shoot by Hello Darling & Amanda Hein Photography

The Best Wedding Videography

Most wedding videos are cheesy or amateurish. The special effects are terrible and only the most obvious and noticeable moments are captured, usually at poor angles. This video is an exception, as it is some of the best wedding videography that I have seen:

Dennis & Patricia (Wedding Trailer) from Winston Tao on Vimeo.

The amazing setting defintiely helped, but Winston Tao is obviously talented. The only thing I am wondering is if the videographers got in the way during the day and how many were there. It seems like they always had the perfect angle with mutiple perspectives. You should check out this video as you will be impressed.

Crappy Venue Mandated Vendor (with hilarious photobombing)

I’m sure that the guest blogger’s article on Offbeat Bride will be useful to some brides. Fortunately for me, I’ve never had to deal with a bad venue mandated vendor and I hope that you don’t either. The good news for you is that she linked to an awesome photo-bombing site which included a gem like this:

Please leave me some photo-bomb links if you have them!

Glorious Wedding Photo

The only way that I can describe the first photo in this set is glorious. The firework in the back with the grooms smile is amazing. There are a few other excellent shots but I loved this one:

Inexpensive Wedding Video

This is an interesting concept for couples who want a small wedding video but don’t want to spend the big dollars on hiring a company. Have your friends take the video and Storymix will edit it for $100. They even rent you a camera for that price. The quality of the video and editing isn’t great, but it would be tough to complain when considering it is such a small cost.
