Letterpress is a printing process that results in an imprint into the paper wherever there is ink. It has a different aesthetic to engraving or thermography printed wedding invitations, where the ink is raised above the paper on the invitations. However, all three types of printing give the invitations a classic, more traditional feel.

One of the disadvantages to letterpress is that it can be much more expensive than regular digital printing and that not all printers offer this type of printing. However, if you love paper products, then you’ll love the texture and look of letterpress invitations.
